Rules of the G4F Site/Forums - Last Update: 5/12/2007
Rule 1 : Do not C.P. (Cheap Posting) or Spam That means a member just post one or few
words comments/replies to get his post number high or even get his point amount
higher. And also do not post replies that do not make sense things that people
will not learn or enjoy looking at. Remember that your post is suppose to contributing
the forum/topic. That means posting something twice/triple
or more times when you could have just edited it or told a webmaster/moderator
to edit it for you. Even though these are automatically merged to prevent spammers, you can still get warned when we see the merged double post. However if you would like to bump a topic back up as you
think it is worth discussing again, you may bump is back up after a acceptable period
of time. That means no unacceptable
language or porn and anything related to it in the all of the forum. That mean when you post a topic, you have to
choose the best forum to choose post in. You can find out which forums if the
best to post in by looking at the description of each forum If you need help
deciding which forum to post in, post a question asking which forum is the best
in the Suggestions, Comments and Questions Forum and a site staff will reply you
ASAP. This mean you may not fight with a staff member
over a issue on the site. The site staff is following the rules that the
webmaster has set and therefore it is rule set within the site. However if you
have a problem with a staff member, and you think he/she should be removed from
power, please contact the webmaster. This mean that you do not cause chaos or havoc. This
website is not a place for this stuff. If you want to cause these stuff do it
some where else but never here. Do not create a topic that had been created before. You
can easily use the search function to find if the topic has been created before
and go from there. That means a member may not mass reply
or make topics within a forum with cheap posts or cheap topics. This is
considered as SPAM. If you cannot post contents that other people
cannot understand, it is considered as spam. So don't post it! This means to respect, be kind and be honest to
all members. And the most important is be polite! Rudeness is not tolerated!
This means that you have to trust one another and do not fight other people. And
respect other people's opinion, post, projects...ect. You are not permitted to post the URL of, or information about any website, product, service or event with which you are affiliated with or not. However you can post a website as a reply to the post as a resource that is
related to the post or helpful to the topic. But if you have means to advertise
your website, just add it to our top list or a normal sized text in your signature. That means when posting other people's arts,
files, articles, game, data...ect, put down that owner's name and the resource
where that material is obtained from. Members are permitted a maximum of one account per user, regardless of how many companies/clans/whatever you represent. If you would like your username changed, you can "buy" a username change with points at our point store. Rule 14: No E.L.S. (Excessive Loading Signatures). Your signature must be at a acceptable
size and you may not have any contents that will take a long period of time to
load. If you are a newbie meaning you have below 50 posts, you may not welcome another newbie unless you specifically know that member and indicating that in your post. By doing so, you could possibly be warned or even banned from this website. This rule has been specifically made to prevent fake post spammers, if you are not a spammer you will not have to worry. This means you may not post
contents that are the same as one another very frequently. This is CP (Cheap
Posting) as well. However if the topic was discussed long ago and you feel free
there is a need for a "fresh and clean" new topic, you may open anew
topic. This means that you may not post illegal
contents or anything related to illegal contents on this website. English is the primary language on this website. We
don't tolerate any post that is not English anywhere on the site that is public.
However if there is a language section on this board for that specific language,
then is rule does not apply. You may not submit contents that is in the wrong
section, considered as spam, breaks the rules, or submissions that already
exists. You may not go off topic, please keep to the main
topic. That's why we have topics. If you want to discuss something new, start a
new topic in the right forum! This means that you could be posting a topic
that only one member may be interested in. As in "Hey XX Member it's time
that you sent me the points you owed me." There is a PM system in this
forum and posts like these should not be posted. Instead use the PM system
please. |
